It is bordered by Lai Châu and Son La provinces of Vietnam in the east and the south, Pu’er City of Yunnan, (China) in the north, and Phongsaly Province of Laos in the West.
The majority of the population is not ethnically Vietnamese – rather, Thai ethnic groups form the largest segment. Ethnic Vietnamese make up around a third of the population, with the remainder being Hmong, Si La, or others.

Day 01: Tay Trang Border -Dien Bien (-/-/D)
Meet at Tay Trang border (Vietnamese side). Ride to Dien Bien(1,5 hours ~ 35km). Check-in the hotel. Free for leisure. Dinner at restaurant.Overnight inDien Bien.

The Command bunker of De Castries lies at the
heart of the entrenched camp of Dien Bien Phu in the middle of the Muong Thanh Field. The original shape and size, structure and arrangement of the bunker are kept intact, cemetery (if time available).
Day 02: Dien Bien- Sa Pa (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Sapa. (7,5 hours ~ 300km). Lunch at restaurant on the way. Arrival Sapa, check-in hotel. Dinner at restaurant. Overnight in Sa Pa.
Day 03: Sa Pa (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. AM: Our guide will escort you to visit the roof of Indochina – Fansipan Mountain, take the cable car on top. Lunch at restaurant. PM: Visit it Ham Rong mountain, its location is in center of Sapa Townlet, Sapa District, Lao Cai District. HamRong Mountain is an attractive tourist area in the center of Sapa Townlet. Legend has it that in the distance past, all animals lived together in a chaotic environment. One day, Jade Emperor gave an order that every species of animal had to find for them an area to live. Having heard the order, they scrambled for a place to reside.
Dinner at restaurant. Overnight in Sa Pa.
Day 04: Sa Pa - Dien Bien (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Dien Bien. Lunch enroute. Dinner at restaurant.Overnight in Dien Bien.
Day 05: Dien Bien - Tay Trang border (B/-/-)
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Tay Trang border. End of program.
